ABOUT MY SISTERS 1996 - 2006

I'm in the process of trying to publish a book and need your help. It is for my project: Two Girls: My Sisters1996-2006.

I have been photographing my sisters’ passage through childhood, into and out of adolescence for ten years and find the work to be valid and socially significant on many levels beyond pure documentation. This work chronicles the quest for identity, changes in voice and confidence through adolescence, the strong influence of media and peer groups and an eating disorder.

As you may or may not know, funding for all the arts have been cut in recent years under our current administration and the effects have reached far and wide, even into art publishing.The funding will go directly to the publication, design, marketing and distribution of the book.

If you have any questions or want to see a sample of my book in progress, please don’t hesitate to ask. Please understand that publishing the book will be a slow process. I appreciate your consideration of these very inexpensively priced prints to help fund this book.

This is an 11x14, C-Print, edition of 30 signed and numbered prints with two numbered artist proofs. The minimum price is $75 for artists and $100 for everyone else per print. You of course are welcome to contribute more. The print will be sent via priority mail as soon as I receive a check or paypal payment. Your name will be listed in the book under sponsors.
